"Works, but it goes down way too often"
It does work when it is up, but it seems to go down a lot. Most days it feels unstable, which gets frustrating when I actually need to use it

"I tried builds.io for a little while..."
I tried builds.io for a little while, the actual service worked well. Setup was simple enough, nothing weird happened, and it didn’t give me any major issues while I was using it.
That said, the way the privacy info is presented doesn’t feel super reassuring. It’s not that I saw any obvious red flags, but the tone of the privacy details feels a little too vague for something I’d want to fully trust. I’d feel better if they were more upfront about what data they store and for how long

"Wish I’d looked around more"
The app itself is okay, but I’m kind of regretting going with it. Support takes way too long to reply, and when they finally do, they sometimes don’t even really answer what I asked. It’s frustrating because I expected better before paying for it.

"I gave builds.io a try a few different..."
I gave builds.io a try a few different times, the download speeds were rough. My home wifi is usually fine with streaming, games, and other downloads, so it didn’t really feel like the problem was on my end.
A couple of files took ages just to get going, then once they finally started they moved super slowly the whole time. I kept checking other stuff to see if my internet was acting up, but everything else seemed normal.
For me it just wasn’t worth dealing with. If the speeds got better I’d probably consider using it again, but right now it’s more frustrating than helpful.

"Kind of useful, but not worth the monthly cost"
I signed up thinking I’d get more out of it, but I barely ended up using it. There were a few things I liked, so I wouldn’t say it’s totally useless, but for the price each month it just didn’t feel worth keeping. I canceled eventually, though even that didn’t really make me feel great since I still felt like I’d wasted money

"Account activation was a frustrating wait"
I signed up thinking I’d be able to get started quickly, but then I ended up waiting forever just to have my account activated. It had a bit of a bait-and-switch feel, like everything seemed simple upfront and then the process dragged on with no clear update. Not a great first impression.

"Updates take way too long"
I’ve noticed that a lot of the apps I use on builds.io are still on older versions, and the updates just don’t come through fast enough. You keep checking back hoping something changed, but most of the time it’s the same. For a paid service, it gets frustrating honestly.
"Not much to choose from"
I signed up thinking there’d be a better app lineup, but honestly... it’s limited. A bunch of the apps I was looking for just aren’t there, and the ones they do have feel kind of basic. I wanted to like it, but for me it’s just not really worth it.

"I couldn’t even get this installed..."
I couldn’t even get this installed. The setup was kinda confusing, and every time I tried it just kept failing. Frustrating tbh.

"Trying to use this site on my..."
Trying to use this site on my phone is annoying. It’s a total slowpoke, pages take forever to load, and finding anything feels like a scavenger hunt run by a bunch of goofballs

"Certificates keep dropping off"
It works fine when it actually works, but, like, the certificates seem to get revoked or just stop working way too often. Then I have to reinstall everything again, which is annoying.

"Updates weren’t very clear, right?"
I had a frustrating experience with builds.io, mainly because the communication just didn’t feel clear to me. I kept having to ask what was going on, and when I did get answers, they were either kind of vague or came later than expected. I get that issues can happen, that’s normal, but is it fair to expect straightforward updates along the way? The lack of clarity made the whole process feel more stressful than it needed to be and left me feeling unsure about trusting them

"It keeps freezing and I’m kind of over it"
I really wanted to give this app a fair shot, but it just keeps freezing on me. Like I’ll open it, wait for it to load, think maybe it’s finally working, and then it either gets super slow or just crashes out of nowhere. It’s frustrating because I can’t really use it without feeling like I’m fighting with it the whole time. For now, it just doesn’t feel worth using...

"I tried using builds.io on my iPhone..."
I tried using builds.io on my iPhone, but it kept telling me my device wasn’t supported, even though it’s not really that old. I went through the setup steps a couple of times, but I still couldn’t get anything installed properly. Support did respond, but the answers were basic and didn’t really solve the issue for me. It might work fine for others, but in my case it ended up being a bit frustrating.

"Wouldn’t work on my phone"
I tried to download it but it says I need a newer iOS, which is kind of annoying. My phone still works fine so I figured the app should too, but I guess not. Couldn’t really use it at all.

"Support did eventually get my issue sorted..."
Support did eventually get my issue sorted out, but wow, it felt like a whole little drama getting there. There were a few back-and-forth messages, and at first I had no real clue what was happening or when I’d get an update. The good news is it works now, so crisis averted, but the whole thing definitely took longer than I expected.

"Payment went through, just felt a bit slow"
The payment itself worked fine, but my gut reaction was that the confirmation took longer than I expected. Nothing went wrong, it just left me waiting for a bit and wondering if it had actually gone through.

"I asked for a refund because the app..."
I asked for a refund because the app just didn’t work for me, and uh, the whole process was frustrating. Support kept sending short replies that didn’t really answer much, and then nothing actually happened. I had to follow up more than once, and it felt like they just didn’t want to deal with it. Bad experience overall, and I wouldn’t use builds.io again.

"Onboarding felt a bit unclear"
I wanted to like builds.io, but the setup felt kind of messy. The first steps weren’t super clear, so I ended up clicking around just to figure out what came next.
Maybe it gets easier later, but as a new user, I felt lost. A short checklist or clearer hints would help a lot.

"It just feels a little too expensive..."
It just feels a little too expensive for what you get. The pricing seems kinda unfair to me.
